| WHAT IS FLYBALL? As seen on Animal Planet and the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge, FLYBALL is the fastest growing dog sport today. Flyball is a high-speed relay race between two teams - four dogs per team. Dogs race side by side in two parallel lanes over a set of four hurdles to retrieve a tennis ball from a spring-loaded flyball box, then race back to their handler. The course is 51 feet long. Jump heights are determined by the smallest dog on the team, the "height" dog. Points are earned by each dog on the team for each clean heat, usually a 3/5 race format. Titles are awarded for points earned. It is possible your dog will title in their very first tournament! Any breed and size of dog can play flyball, including mixed breeds and rescues. Dogs must not be dog-aggressive. Dogs must have reliable off-leash recall. Dogs must be 1 year old to compete. If you have a ball-crazy dog with a lot of energy, if you enjoy team sports and traveling with friends, then FLYBALL is for you! Reeking Havoc Flyball Team is located in Southern Ohio, approximately 25 miles from Cincinnati. We attend Division 1 NAFA and U-FLI tournaments held in Ohio, Illinois and Michigan. We attend approximately 6 tournaments per year. We practice at the Circle Tail Training Center, Pleasant Plain, OH. Beginning Flyball Class begins January 21, 2010 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Advanced Flyball Class begins January 21, 2010 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. (Completion of Beginning Flyball Class required) Cost of class is $75.00.
